Kris, Bruce Jenner announce they are happier being apart

No matter how much some Florida residents might want to avoid hearing about the Kardashian clan, it’s quite hard to avoid these days. Whether it’s the birth of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter, North, or the happenings on an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” they continue to make headlines. Though many of those headlines come from the Kardashian children, this time around it’s mom and pop that are making news.

Kris and Bruce Jenner have announced they are much happier living separate and reportedly have been doing so for some time. Now this doesn’t necessarily mean they are headed for divorce, but some are already gossiping about the likely mess a Jenner divorce would bring.

The issue at hand is that the couple has more than $125 million to their name and no prenuptial agreement. When the couple married in 1991, Bruce was the one with the fortune, which came from the deals and endorsements he gained after winning a gold medal during the 1976 Olympics. But now, it’s all about “momager” Kris. At 57, she is often seen as the leader of the Kardashian entertainment empire, which includes “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

It’s been rumored that Bruce has put aside his career in order to raise the two children they had together. If this is truly the case, he may end up asking for alimony in order to continue enjoying the luxuries he had during marriage.

With tons of assets and a slew of children from both sides, it will be interesting to see how this separation will play out.
